NOVA provides young people between the ages of 16-24, who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless with a safe, affordable and supportive living environment. Operating primarily from a Harm Reduction philosophy, the program provides 20 beds as a low-barrier housing solution to those who are faced with multiple challenges
Conditions of Employment:
This position requires the successful candidate to work shift work – including holidays, weekends, evenings, and awake overnight shifts and be available for a minimum of 4 shifts per month. The hours of work are 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm and 11pm–7am shifts. Please note all NOVA employment contracts are signed for a 1 year term with a potential of renewal.
Hourly Wage:
The starting hourly wage is $17 per hour. Shift differential will be paid for hours worked between midnight and 6 am.
