Job Overview
Partnering with the C5 Collaborative and the North East Family Resource Network (FRN) Hub, Terra is one of the Spoke service providers for Edmonton North East. Working with families referred from the North East FRN, the Family Engagement Worker assists young moms and dads in their development of positive parenting skills to foster healthy parent child relationships. Through home visits and community outreach, participants are supported to make healthy choices and to develop their capacity to effectively meet the needs of their children. This position will work closely and in collaboration with the other service delivery partners at the North East FRN Hub to ensure that families are well supported by and connected to their community.
Job Conditions
The Family Engagement Worker position is Full Time: the workweek is 37.5 hours/week with flexible hours to meet the needs of families, and the North East FRN. Hours of work will include some evening and occasional weekend support for programming. This position is supported and supervised through Terra however will be situated at the North East Family Resource Network Hub in Clareview. The Family Engagement Worker will be part of a team at Terra and at the North East FRN and will contribute to planning and service delivery discussions at both sites. While most participants on the caseload will be young parents, the FRN has the option of assigning other families to this position to best meet the needs of the North East community.

Salary Range: $44 850/year. Upon completion of a probationary period, we offer a comprehensive, competitive, extended health benefits package including RRSP contribution.
