Job Overview:
The Communications & Community Engagement Lead is a multi-faceted position responsible for all aspects of internal and external communications at Terra, with a strong emphasis on raising Terra’s profile in the community.
By creating and sharing Terra stories with a range of external stakeholders, this role plays a key role in inspiring support from the community. As a member of the Resource Development team, this role also supports fund development initiatives including fundraising events, donor stewardship activities and community fundraising.
As the department is rapidly growing, the ideal candidate will thrive in dynamic environments and is excited by new opportunities and managing a diverse portfolio of projects.

Job Conditions
The Communications & Community Engagement position is permanent full-time role (37.5 hours/week) working out of Terra’s downtown office (9930 106 Street NW). The office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, however hours of work will vary based on the needs of the position and agency. This may include working occasional evenings and weekends.
